The next trip I took was to the 40th Anniversary Rally of the Loners on Wheels club. It was held at the Goshen, IN, fairgrounds and there were over 250 attendees, each in their own RV. As the name implies, it is a club for singles who travel in RVs. It was a lot of fun!

I met a lady with much more life experience than me, who, when she found out I still hadn't used my propane, grabbed me by the hand and marched me into my RV to show me how to light my stove. After realizing that my propane was turned off at the tank, and fixing that, she lit my stove without incident, and I tried the hot water heater, and learned that I now could unplug, and the fridge would switch to gas. Wow! The possibilities that opened up.
I also got my rig weighed, and was told the proper tire inflation (which was close to what I was using anyway), and also that my rig was not even close to being overloaded and was well balanced, meaning to me that I could take a whole lot more stuff with me when I traveled.
