I've added new trails over the last two weeks. Anything with "NEW" in front of the title has been added recently. I now have Twitter, Instagram, and G+ accounts for Hike by Photo. So far I'm only using Facebook and Twitter - the other two will have to wait for me to figure them out.
I added a welcome page to the website, so hopefully it will be easier for those using phones and tablets to navigate. I'm counting down to the next trip in about a month. I'll try to keep the blog up to date during this next trip. There will be lots of new things to see, and new pictures! I've been really working hard getting my photos from past travels up on the website. Since my last post I've added 5 scenic drives and 6 hikes! Too many to list, but I tagged them with the word "NEW" in front of the title so you can find them easier. Enjoy!
I've been busy getting my travel photos uploaded to the new website. What a job! Although it has been fun to go back over the trails I hiked, and places I've traveled for the last two years, it's making me really want to get back out on the road... NOW!
I will be going later this year, and hope to do some hiking in some really scenic places, maybe even some horseback riding (haven't been on a horse in 20 years or so). I guess pictures from horseback would be considered hiking a trail, even if I hike it using someone else's feet.

Stone Mountain
I just added the trail to the top of Stone Mountain to the site. I hiked it in June of 2011. It took most of the day, as I was very out of shape. I was so proud to have made it up and back without the need for an ambulance. I think that was probably the first really strenuous hike I took. Well, not counting when I was young and in shape.
